Respect is freely given to all
for while it is in short supply
with high demand,
it is not a commodity.
As such, the rules of economics
matter little to it
for each person has the potential
to give it freely to all
and likewise receive it.
It takes little effort to extend it
to all who exist.
Love is much the same,
though it costs more
and in higher demand than high regard
it is better received when freely given.
