Poem #291 Let us dance together

Let us dance together.

We haven't talked in a long while 

and I've been busy doing nothing, 

dancing in circles to my own tunes getting nowhere.

So tonight, my love, let it be like old times

let us dance till our feet hurt 

and our hearts beat in time with the music.

Let us salsa on the waves and the seas

let the thunder and the lightning be our drumline,

let us waltz in the storm

and break dance in the quiet.

Let us ride in the clouds and the stars
